Lucius last night at The Bowery Ballroom—their final show of the year.
I got to hang out and draw during sound-check, up in the dressing room before the show and on the side of the stage during the set. Pete gave me earplugs because he said the stage was gonna be loud, but I only wore them for a while because I like loud.

This week, I spent the days before Thanksgiving drawing in the studio and on the stage with members of Yellowbirds, Guster, Vetiver, Ween, Wilco, The Dap Kings, The Low Anthem, Antibalas, Rocketship Park, The Fruit Bats, Blitzen Trapper and many more as they recreated The Bands’ Last Waltz. The Complete Last Waltz is becoming a Thanksgiving tradition and it was a real joy to be a part of it. I’ll see everyone next year …
