Here’s a song that I wrote the lyrics for and Josh and Annie turned into a song. Then we recorded it for the Balthrop, Alabama Christmas album a few years back. This video was shot by Bernie DeChant during a Balthrop, Alabama rehearsal for our first Christmas show and features the band—along with Dawn Landes—practicing the song. It also features our realization that we might not have an ending for it.

Very delayed post, but I had the real pleasure of going to Joe’s Pub on November 19th to draw bands Emefe and Balthrop, Alabama live! It was a night of truly incredible music and energy. It’s a snowy day in Brooklyn. Here’s a silly video I threw together using the iPad Brushes program in the days after the big blizzard of 2011. Went out the day after the big snow and took some pics and then just drew on them. Josh Kaufman gave me an unreleased Rocketship Park song for the score.
